JOE’s Song Of The Day #760 – Revelator ‘Seein’ Stars’

Eric Lalor

Revelator

Revelator with something a bit different.

Revelator is the moniker adopted by Limerick musician, Jeremy Morgan. He has just released his debut EP, Fine Lines, which features today’s JOE song of the day, ‘Seein’ Stars’.

Primarily driven by a folk/alternative-based sound, Revelator’s musical influence encompasses a wide array of genres and this track captures that perfectly.

Revelator

It’s like Robert Plant jamming with The Fureys in parts. When the song starts, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re about to listen to a trad song, but then the gravelly rock voice kicks in and you end up with something quite different.

Ranging from roots and reggae to rock, electronic to acoustic, Revelator’s Jeremy Morgan seeks to fuse, within his songs, the vast, ever-evolving soundscape that has been a staple of his musical diet since childhood.

The debut EP is available from all the usual platforms and if you want to find out more about Revelator, you can visit his Facebook page right here.
