The title track from the latest EP from Noel O'Brien.

Dublin-based Tipperary native Noel O’Brien self-recorded and released his debut EP in 2015 and has since frequented open mic nights around Dublin to hone his craft and sound. His music combines advanced guitar work with ambient textures and is recommended for fans of John Martyn, Nick Drake and Elliot Smith. Listening to this track, it reminded this author of the great Badly Drawn Boy. Noel O'Brien released this EP, his sophomore release, back in June of 2018 and 'Sunken Lines' is the title track. It's a fine piece of work and listeners will find themselves wanting more. Since last summer, O’Brien has regularly played the Ruby Sessions at Doyle's in Dublin and at venues such as The Workman's Club and Whelan's. After most recently performing at Whelan’s’ prestigious “Ones to Watch” festival, 2019 will bring many more gigs and opportunities, building towards an eventual album release in early 2020. https://youtu.be/WT_cHRvDtro Clip via Noel O'Brien If you'd like to find out more about Noel O'Brien, check out their Facebook page right here.
