JOE’s Song Of The Day #783 – LAOISE ‘Mad’

Eric Lalor

LAOISE

LAOISE unleashes her new EP.

LAOISE is a 22 year old electro-pop artist from Galway who has just released a four track EP called Mad. This is the title track from the EP and it’s a tune which should guarantee a lot of radio airplay such is its catchy quality.

The quirky track depicts the story of that moment in life when you decide to no longer accept a situation which you’re unhappy with; it’s that moment of self-awareness where you let your gut instinct cut through, and let your voice be heard.

LAOISE

LAOISE has built a growing listenership for her dreamy, ambitious and frank pop songs about relationships and heartbreak, often with darker, moodier and more introspective lyrics and juxtaposed with upbeat electro and synth production.

With this release, LAOISE presents four songs created with real intent which will infuse her live set with a determined but feel-good vibe this summer.

She will be taking her new music to a number of 2019 festivals including Lollapalooza Berlin, Body & Soul (Main Stage) and Indiependence – with more to be announced. Fresh off the back of her first headline tour in her native Ireland, LAOISE is excited to return to the festival circuit.
