It seems Sam Wickens, the man from Bangor, has the world at his feet.
In 2017, Wickens was taken under the wing of legendary American record producer Tony Visconti, producer of scores of albums by major artists including David Bowie, T.Rex, Paul McCartney, Damon Albarn, Moody Blues, Marc Almond, the Kaiser Chiefs and more.
He has been described as a mesmerising solo performer, gifted with the talent to arouse the soul with haunting melodies laced with poignant lyrics and sung with his trademark transparency of spirit.
Wickens’ debut album will be released in June and this track is the follow up to the massively successful ‘Falling’.
There’s no doubt that there is a serious talent at work here and someone on the cusp of bigger and better things.
