Witchy beach vibes, you say?
Meath/Dublin alt-pop duo Elkin have been making waves amongst the Irish music scene since the beginning on 2018, though the pair initially started writing songs when they were teenagers.
Current single ‘Cut My Tongue’ marks the latest step in their musical evolution, lined with the “witchy beach vibes” that Elkin is quickly becoming regarded for.
“‘Cut My Tongue’ is our take on the femme fatale figure,” they say.
“She’s perfect on the outside but ready to split your heart in two and keep half for herself.”
In lesser hands, that would be a grim enough affair, but there’s enough knowing wit here to lift the track high.
