The Crayon Set are a Dublin-based five-piece that specialise in upbeat alternative pop, using a diverse range of instruments and vocal harmonies. We are no strangers to the sweet sound of The Crayon Set, having featured them way back in a different time dimension that was 2017. It's reassuring to know that they are still producing quality tunes and this one, from their upcoming album release, is another cracker. The Crayon Set are on the go since 2010 and Downer Disco, due to come out in June, will be their third album. If this track is anything to go by, it'll be an album well worth checking out. This is electro-indie-pop in all its synth-fused finery. In fact, you wonder how The Crayon Set aren't riding a wave of global domination such is the quality of their output. The harmonies, the music, the production are all top-notch. In a time where the world is a dark and grey place, let The Crayon Set bring some colour into your life.
