A debut of note from Phoeno.
Phoeno (pronounced fee-no) are Adam Matthews and Liam Corbett who are based in Dublin. Their collaboration has been a process of shedding skin to arrive at a place of emotional rawness and truth. When the songs they composed began to form in 2019, Adam and Liam found themselves casting off a traditional band structure. They listened to, and found solace in sonic landscapes, which would influence their sound and ultimately, their first track. Two years in the making, this, their debut single, is a very well-produced statement of intent and offers a hint of what's to come.
