The Compton-born rapper is due to kick-start the European leg of his DAMN tour on Wednesday 7 February in Dublin, with tickets having sold out on the morning they were made available three months ago.

Lamar is also due to release his soundtrack for the latest Marvel movie, Black Panther on 9 February. Although he acted as the executive producer for the release, he provided vocals to the album’s title track, alongside the previously released ‘All the Stars’ with SZA, ‘King’s Dead’ with Jay Rock, Future and James Blake and brand new tracks ‘Big Shot’ with Travis Scott and ‘Pray For Me’ with The Weeknd.

And as if he wasn’t busy enough, he also curried more favour with his Irish fans after collaborating with U2 on the band’s single ‘Get Out Of Your Own Way’ from their 14th album Songs of Experience and an additional track titled ‘American Soul’.
