Given the success of his barnstorming new album DAMN., Kendrick Lamar has every reason to be proud of himself.
Judging by the text message he shared on his Twitter today, Kendrick's mother is also overwhelmed with pride. Pride and emojis.
In the heartwarming message, Kendrick's momma exhibits a bit of mom humour ("You should have put me and your daddy on this one too j/k) before getting into the classic parental stuff ("This your best one to me, no bullshit, 100 emoji.")
Kendrick's mother, whose name is Paula, goes on to heap praise on K. Dot's fans, writing "Your fans are some die hards. I love them."

While Kendrick is obviously appreciative of all the praise, his reply is exactly what ours would be if we were to receive this text message from our own mammy: "Who taught you 100?"
