Kojaque Whelans Dublin

Having starred at Electric Picnic, the Dublin rapper goes his own way.

This year’s Electric Picnic festival had many, many highlights.

Kojaque was one such talking point, having packed ’em out at both the Other Voices room and the Little Big Tent on Saturday.

The standard post-festival run of gig announcements brings good tidings this Tuesday with the news that Kojaque will headline The Academy, Dublin this winter.

The rapper has been building a lot of buzz both at home and abroad and his turn at the Abbey Street venue on Thursday 6 December should mark another huge step on the ladder.

He’ll also take to the stage at Cyprus Avenue in Cork the night before, Wednesday 5 December.

Tickets for the Dublin show priced from €17.50 including booking fee go on sale this Friday 7 September at 10am via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
