The festival is already sold out, but there are still some tickets to be made available…
Having recently blown the roof off the 3 Arena in Dublin, it has been confirmed today that Kylie Minogue will be performing the coveted ‘Legend Slot’ at Glastonbury’s 2019 festival.
Kylie was originally set to perform there 14 years ago, but was forced to cancel her show due to her breast cancer diagnosis and was replaced by Basement Jaxx.
Kylie is only the second act to be confirmed for Glasto 2019, after Stormzy was announced as a headliner back in November.
The festival has been sold out since early October, but a small number of tickets for the festival will be released in April 2019. You must be registered in order to purchase a ticket, and you can sign up to register here.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis took to Twitter to comment on the announcement:
“We are delighted to announce that Kylie is finally bringing her show to Glastonbury. She’ll play the legendary Sunday afternoon slot at next year’s Festival. And we cannot wait.”
I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing the ‘Legend slot’ on Sunday 30th June at @GlastoFest 2019. It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now. I can’t wait to see you all there to share this special show. pic.twitter.com/wHAiBs54Cx
