Kylie Minogue has cancelled tonight and tomorrow’s gigs in Dublin and Belfast

Antipodean pop icon Kylie Minogue has cancelled her planned Irish concerts with immediate effect. Minogue had been set to grace the stage of Dublin's 3Arena tonight - Sunday 7 October - and The SSE Arena in Belfast tomorrow - Monday 8 October - but disaster has struck at the 11th hour. Taking to Twitter on Sunday afternoon, the singer apologised to fans, noting that a throat infection did the damage. "Lovers," she began. "I'm so sorry to let you know that I can't do tonight's Dublin or tomorrow's Belfast shows.
