Louis Tomlinson was arrested last night at LAX Airport.
The ex One Direction star was travelling through the airport when he was reportedly involved in an altercation with a photographer. Louis, and his girlfriend, were queuing at the baggage reclaim when they were surrounded by paparazzi.
According to People Magazine, Louis allegedly pushed one of the photographers who fell over and hurt himself. Louis was then arrested and brought to a nearby police station for questioning.
He was released in the early hours of Saturday morning but will be forced to appear in court at the end of the month over the incident.
A representative for Louis released the following statement:
“The paparazzi provoked and caused an altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning. This is not the first or the last time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.
While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during the incident and he came to her defense.”
