A posthumous Mac Miller album is coming really soon.

Over a year after his death, a new album by Mac Miller will be released next week.

The album, called Circles was created to act as a companion to his most recent album, Swimming. It will be released on Friday, 17 January.

Mac Miller (real name Malcolm McCormick) was working on the album with artist Jon Brion, who completed the project after his death.

Brion also worked on Miller’s most recent album, Swimming, which was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

His family made the announcement via Mac Miller’s official Instagram, saying that they are eternally grateful to Brion for dedicating himself to the album after Miller’s death.

“This is a complicated process that has no right answer. No clear path. We simply know that it was important to Malcolm for the world to hear this.

“Thank you to all the fans who’ve supported him unconditionally through the years.

“We miss him. We are left to imagine where Malcolm was going and to appreciate where he was. We hope you take the time to listen. The look on his face when everyone was listening says it all.”
