It's been a good year for Dublin hip hop duo Mango X MathMan.
Alright, their Wheel Up EP came out at the start of December 2017, but that kind of counts for 2018 in the weird world of music where year-end lists are assembled by the end of November.
And a belter of an EP it is, too. But as anyone who has caught Mango X MathMan live will know, it's in a public setting where these guys really shine.
A busy year has seen them perform at the likes of Forbidden Fruit, Longitude and Electric Picnic among other stages.
Mango, meanwhile, has lent his voice to RTÉ 2FM's The Story of Hip Hop showcase, which featured at festivals this year and will come to Dublin's 3Arena before the year is out.
Also happening before 2018 is dust; Mango X MathMan's first headline show proper of the year.
Better than late than never and all that. The boys will take over the basement of Wigwam on Abbey Street in Dublin on Thursday 27 December.
They promise a "sweaty, dark, bass-pumping rave" so clear room in your festive calendar for that.
Support comes from Shampain and Ed Fay.
Tickets priced from €11.40 are available now via Eventbrite.
