If you missed out on an Electric Picnic ticket, here’s how you can get one for free

Electric Picnic tickets

Fancy it?

Given the fact that an E.P ticket usually vanishes quicker than a fart in the wind, getting your hands on an elusive ticket to Stradbally can be extremely tough.

Hell, the pre-sale usually goes faster than the first few cans that are popped open at the campsite.

Well, if you’re absolutely desperate to see Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack, N.E.R.D, St. Vincent, Jungle, George Ezra and the rest of the lineup, there’s a way to get in for free but you’ll have to put the pedal to the metal.

As they regularly do, Tour de Picnic will once again be hosting their annual charity 80 km cycle or 17km run and it’s the last place to get your hands on tickets for the sold out festival

Now in its tenth year, Tour de Picnic is sponsored by The Complete Natural and by taking part you can help raise money for three very worthwhile charities: The ISPCC, The Jack & Jill Foundation and Headway Ireland.

A €50 deposit will secure your place on the cycle or run, the deposit is also counted towards your final fundraising total.

There are a few clauses though. You must raise a minimum of €395 euro, which gives you weekend access plus camping, the fully supported 80km cycle or 17km run (supplemented by bus), an official TdP jersey, snacks and drinks along the route, baggage transfer, burger and beer on arrival, return bus and bike transfer home.

After all that cycling and partying, it’s good that they’re giving you a lift home. Christ, we’d probably collapse on our feet!

If you fancy getting on your bike, you can register here.

Best of luck!
