The band is fast becoming a big Irish success story.
With a huge headliner at the Iveagh Gardens in the pipeline, Mullinger indie rockers The Academic have announced their biggest international tour yet, taking in the US, UK and Europe.
The band, who recently enjoyed viral fame with their Facebook live heroics in a clever looped video for 'Bear Claws', kick off their jaunt in Washington in February before finishing up in Manchester in late April.
