They just love playing in Ireland.
With the recent release of Sleep Well Beast, The National cemented their position as one of the world’s best bands and they’ve just announced two shows in Dublin next summer.
Having played dates in Vicar Street in September, Matt Berninger and the brothers Dessner and Devendorf will now return for two shows in Donnybrook Stadium next June.

Tickets will be on sale next Friday, 13 October, from the usual outlets.
Sleep Well Beast came out to universally positive reviews, not least for its claustrophobic and pared down sound and use of electronics, previously unheard within The National’s back catalogue.
