It really has been a terrific 12 months for rising Dublin hip hop sensation Nealo.
Having emerged seemingly from nowhere - a former life as the frontman for a hardcore band isn't the usual backstory for a rapper - the Clonsilla native has turned heads, won critical acclaim and grown his audience with every step.
In his short journey so far, Nealo has graced stages such as Longitude, Sea Sessions and Electric Picnic (this Saturday at 4.55pm on the Salty Dog stage, don't miss out) and collaborated with the likes of Rusangano Family man God Knows.
Throw in a string of excellent singles, signing to indie collective Diffusion Lab (Soulé, Jafaris, Rushes) and a developing kinship with jazz heroics and it's all coming up Milhouse.
'Angel Is My Shoulder' is the latest salvo, and it's a belter as Nealo muses on the state of his life and the world, and how social media may well be the bane of everything.
