"The truth will set you free. But first it will piss you off."
Back in the late 1990s, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo were a production duo known as The Neptunes, but wanting to release some material themselves and not just make it for others, they joined up with Shay Haley to form the performance act N.E.R.D.
They've release four albums to date, with the biggest singles including the likes of 'Lapdance', 'She Wants To Move', 'Everybody Nose', 'Hot N Fun' with Nelly Furtado and 'Hypnotize U' with Daft Punk.
They haven't released anything in seven years - Williams become a huge pop star in his own right, and apparently Hugo decided an early retirement was the way for him - but then, out of nowhere, they've released their brand new single, as well as the accompanying video.
'Lemon' features Rihanna on vocals alongside Pharrell, and in the video we see her for a quick scene shaving the head of a dancer, who then promptly twerks up a storm in a bicycle store.
We imagine this would've been the song of the summer had it been released a few months ago, so it will have to make do with being the catchiest song of the winter, instead.
Plus, we imagine there'll be a new album close behind. Colour us excited.
