Netflix have made a documentary about Bruce Springsteen and it’s released very soon

A treat for fans of The Boss.

Granted, nothing can ever match the grandiose delivery of Springsteen singing Darkness on the Edge of Town, but Netflix are about to bring you an intimate documentary about The Boss because they've recorded a live special of Springsteen's recent performances on Broadway. This filmed version of the performance will arrive on the streaming service on December 15, which is also the final night of the performance run in New York. Heres the official synopsis: "Springsteen on Broadway is a solo acoustic performance written and performed by Tony Award, Academy Award, and 20-time Grammy Award winner Bruce Springsteen. Based on his worldwide best-selling autobiography Born to Run “Springsteen on Broadway is a unique evening with Bruce, his guitar, a piano, and his very personal stories. In addition, it features a special appearance by Patti Scialfa." In terms of critical reviews, Springsteen on Broadway has been beloved by all with The New York Times stating that “As portraits of artists go, there may never have been anything as real — and beautiful — on Broadway.”. Rolling Stone said that the show is “An intimate triumph… one of the most compelling and profound shows by a rock musician in recent memory.” If that's not enough good news for fans of The Boss, a corresponding soundtrack album will also be released on December 14 ahead of the Netflix special.
