Cardi B and Nicki Minaj got into a very heated fight at an award ceremony

There’s reports that a shoe was thrown.

Rapper Cardi B has released a statement after she was injured following an altercation with Nicki Minaj in the early hours of this morning.

According to People, the pair got into a fight at Harper Bazaar’s ICONS party – one of the celebrations for New York Fashion Week.

TMZ have stated that “Cardi B approached the table she was not looking for a fight … they say she wanted ‘to address the lies Nicki was spreading’ and at that point, the altercation began. They also report that Cardi B (the lady that’s wearing the red dress) also threw on of her shoes at Minaj and left with a slight bruise above her right eye.

Variety have stated that Cardi B’s bump on her forehead was the result of an elbow from one of Minaj’s security guard

Another video from the evening shows Cardi B leaving the party, shouting about how people were talking about her daughter, Kulture.

Since the incident occurred, Cardi B released the following post via Instagram.

“I’ve let a lot of s**t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**k with them!! I let you talk big s**t about me!! I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!!But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**k off!!

She adds: “I’ve worked too hard and come too far to let anybody f** with my success!!!! Bitches talk all that s**t in they raps but in real life they pussy!! “This s**t really is for entertainment!!”
