A nice bit of publicity for the band…
Noel Gallagher attended a charity gig in London last week and had an unusual method of hiding from paparazzi as he left the venue.
Irish band Cronin played the gig in Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in Soho on Thursday in aid of Hoping Foundation, to raise money for Palestinian orphans.
Shane MacGowen of the Pogues was backing up Cronin at the gig and according to NME, Jools Holland, Van Morrison and The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hyde were also performing on the night.

@NoelGallagher nice one Noel. At least the cd came in useful for something. pic.twitter.com/zN8jrmXZXY

Just in case the name Cronin sounds familiar to you, we featured them on our site last week when they helped produce this blinder of a Euro song.
You can read more about that here.
