These incredibly nostalgic ’90s songs all reached Number One in Ireland

Paul Moore

Any of these in your collection?

We all have our favourite music moments from the ’90s, but I’d wager that quite a lot of these tunes featured. While it’s impossible to include every number one, here’s some of the most memorable tracks.

1990

Put Em Under Pressure – Larry Mullen and Horselips

Remembered because: It still gives us goosebumps.

Nothing Compares 2 U – Sinead O’Connor

Do The Bartman – The Simpsons

Remembered because: It was everywhere. I’d wager that lots of people still remember the lyrics word-for-word.

(Everything I Do) I Do It for You – Bryan Adams

Remembered because: IT. WAS. EVERYWHERE.  In fact, we’ve heard it so many times that we’re going to include another one of his songs.

1992

Rhythm Is a Dancer – Snap

Remembered because: It still gets played on a Saturday night.

End of the Road – Boyz II Men

Remembered because: It still comes on after a breakup.

No Limit – 2 Unlimited
