Original Beastie Boys mixing desk being sold by Ballymun seller for €23,597

An original Beastie Boys mixing desk is being sold by a Ballymun seller for €23,597 on Adverts.ie.
The seller who goes by Lord Wilberforce claims to be the custodian of the Beastie Boys 32 channel Neotek Elan II analog recording and mixing desk from their famous G-Son Studios in LA.
The mixing desk was used on famous albums such as Ill Communication and Check Your Head.
The seller added that the desk will come with the "coveted binder full of various files and paperwork including engineering notes and routing from various releases."
"The folder even contains the original receipts made out to the boys themselves," they added.
"Current condition: Decommissioned and in secure, safe, and dry storage. This would suit somebody who knows a bit about electronics and wants to take on a project to refurb as their studio centerpiece.
"It could also be racked into separate channel strips for resale but I would rather pass it on to the next custodian who wants to take pride in caring for it. Comes with 6 or 7 patchbays and the EDAC/wiring etc.
"Originally picked up for a studio buildout that has taken a back seat due to current world affairs. I Would like to keep the desk in Ireland ideally."
The seller added that they would consider cash, installed payments, part exchanges, and cash or trades in exchange for the item.
"A chance to own history and a real talking point for marketing your studio. Price is a guide only, reasonable offers will be considered," they continued.
The listing will expire in two weeks.
The seller said they are looking to keep the item in one piece and in Ireland but would consider breaking it down to sell individual parts if it comes to it.
Replying to a comment on the advert they said: "I have a very good feeling about it staying in one piece and finding the right and caring home!"
