The lyrics of the song have drawn a lot of criticism in recent years.
Rock band Paramore have announced that they'll no longer be playing their breakthrough hit 'Misery Business' at their live shows.
Though the song was massively popular when it was first released, the lyrics have been re-examined on social media lately, specifically the line: "Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry, that will never change."
Many critics feel that the line is anti-feminist or misogynistic.
Speaking at a special one-off concert event in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee on 7 September, lead singer Hayley Williams said: "Tonight we're playing the song for the last time. This is a choice that we’ve made because we feel that we should, we feel like it’s time to move away from it for a little while.
“This is to every bad decision that led us here, this is to all the embarrassing things we might have said, but we owned up to it and we grew.”
