This news has just made us all Better Men (and Women).
Terrible song-based wordplay aside, rock fans will be very happy to hear that none other than Eddie Vedder has announced a headline gigs in Dublin and Cork later this year, with a special guest support slot going to none other than our very own Glen Hansard.
Vedder will play the 3Arena in Dublin on Friday 9 June and Cork Live At The Marque on Sunday 11 June, with tickets going on sale from Friday 10 March at 9 am.
The gig will take place right in the middle of Vedder's European tour which kicks off in Amsterdam on 29 May and ends in Sicily on 26 June.
Pre-sale tickets for current members of the Pearl Jam Ten Club starts today (see the website for full details), while the 3Arena pre-sales for the Dublin gig will begin in 9 March right up until 9am on 10 March.
