PIC: The Eagles of Death Metal posted a heartfelt message to U2 following their Paris gig on Monday

The Eagles of Death Metal joined U2 on stage last night in Paris, just weeks after the horrific terrorists attacks in the French capital.

The venue of the band’s gig on that tragic night was one of utter devastation, with 89 people losing their lives at the Bataclan.

They returned to Paris last night, supporting U2, and afterwards posted this touching tribute to Bono and the gang.

Sincere, passionate, emotional and optimistic, this is a lovely read and U2 themselves should be proud.
