What a solid start.
The summer season is upon us which means that like a moth to a musical flame, Irish fans will be heading to some cracking festivals in the next few weeks.
For fans of a certain age, Witnness (later known as Oxegen) was the pinnacle of the Irish festival going experience from 2000-03.
The very first festival was originally held at Fairyhouse Racecourse in Meath and this day-by-day breakdown, featuring some really eclectic artists on the billing , should bring back some memories for the people that were there.
Take a look and keep an eye out for an early appearance by Snow Patrol and Bell X1.
