The bands drummer Nathan Followill broke the good news on Twitter…
While the flame of our undying love for Kings of Leon has been somewhat diminished by their last two albums, they’re ok but not a patch on what preceded them, JOE will always ‘Crawl’ our way to see Team Followill play live.
Their set in Marlay Park this summer was as solid as ever and it seems like the band will be back sooner than expected.
The cool cats of KOL, made instantly uncooler by that remark, have just finished the world tour for their last album Mechanical Bull and are all set to put the finishing touches on their seventh album.
So sad to leave Brazil. Hell of a way to end this record cycle. So many amazing memories. Best fans in the world, record 7 coming soon.

While we weren’t massive fans of Come Around Sundown or Mechanical Bull we still live in hope that they can re-capture some of the magic from their first three records.
