It’s a phenomenon.
As Irish people, we have a weird tendency to get supreme kicks out of celebrities who enjoy and engage with our culture. And very few things encapsulate Irish culture than a pint of Guinness.
Beyoncé (known to her legion of adoring fans as Queen Bey) was in Croke Park last night, to the delight of thousands and many more will be delighted by this photo of her getting stuck into some Guinness.
We say ‘getting stuck into some Guinness’ when in actual fact she appears to be drinking it pretty much more elegantly than anybody else we’ve ever seen handling a pint of the black stuff – but what else would you expect of the icon?
