PIC: This incredible image of Croke Park during the Bruce Springsteen gig sums up the sheer scale of the event

Colm Boohig

What an amazing sight.

The dust is settling on what has been an Irish Bruce Springsteen fan’s wet dream of a weekend in Dublin.

The Boss kicked off the first of two nights in Croke Park with a brilliant performance on Friday night. It was so good, in fact, that Enda Kenny couldn’t contain himself.

The queues were huge well in advance of Sunday’s performance, owing to the great weather, and, dispute there being sound issues for a lot of people in the stands, it was an unforgettable night, especially as Bono himself showed up for a special cameo.

However, out of the many images and videos that have come from both gigs, you’ll go a long way to see a photo that justifies the sheer scale of the whole event as this one taken by JOE reader Lucy Harrington.

Take a look.

Incredible Bruce photo
