We’ve been this soldier, having to put up with family commitments during the Champions League final, Electric Picnic, the Father Ted Christmas special and many other seminal moments in life that we hate to miss.
Our heart goes out to this poor chancer, who’s being forced by the wife to go to his cousin’s wedding despite holding tickets for the Foo Fighters in Slane.
He sold them, at least, but even that came with the disappointment of knowing he could have made a few extra quid.
