PICS: New photography series celebrates some of Ireland’s best female musicians

Paddy McKenna

Ruth Medjber is one of Ireland’s best music photographers.

Sure, didn’t we pick her out as one to watch almost a year ago.

Her new photography series celebrates some of the most prominent and successful lady musicianers (technical term) on this fine island and the results are eyetcatching.

‘The Musicians’ features portraits of Mary Black, Lisa Hannigan, Soak, Heathers, Saint Sister, Fight Like Apes and many more.
