What’s not to like about Hozier?
JOE reader and current J1 student, Ian Flynn, has been in touch to tell us about his recent encounter with none other than Wicklow’s finest, Hozier.
Speaking to JOE, Ian said: “I’m out in Chicago on a J1 and Hozier played in the city tonight!
“I went to Millennium Park, where the concert was held, this morning before work to see the stage and set up because unfortunately I had not gotten a ticket as the gig sold out quickly.
“However, I got more than I bargained for and ended up running into the man himself, told him we were out on a J1 and we loved his music, but couldn’t get hold of tickets and he said ‘don’t worry about it’, then took out his phone and got us all guest list passes to see the show tonight.
“Literally the nicest, most down to earth man I’ve ever met! Here are a couple of pictures to show just how good the seats were, some man!”
Ian finished by saying: “I don’t think we were the only ones he gave tickets to today either!”
Hozier’s some man for one man. What a legend…
