If this is true, we’re pretty ecstatic.
We here in JOE are massive Stone Roses fans, so when news emerged earlier this year that they were releasing new material, we got very excited.
Now, there’s a lot of discussion that the iconic Manchester band are about to release a brand new single from this very material and, well… you can imagine our reaction.
According to NME, the group, who have reportedly had to cancel two of their Tokyo gigs because drummer Reni has broken his ribs, will have a new single out imminently.
Who has revealed this great news? None other than ‘Roses bassist Mani himself, according to a fan who enjoyed a selfie with the star.

Reports are suggesting that a new single will be out either this week (May 9-13) or next week. Either way, we’ll take it.

Hopefully, we’ll be hearing whatever tune this might be come Marlay Park in Dublin on July 9.
