What a way to do it…

In case you haven’t heard, Picture This are playing five sold-out nights at the 3Arena later this year as the band continue their rise in the Irish music industry.

While the five nights are huge events, the band have gone a step further this week and launched their brand-new album MDRN LV with a special performance from the top of The Empire State Building in New York City.

MDRN LV is the second album from the group, following on from their incredibly successful self-titled 2017 debut.

Certified triple-platinum in Ireland, it remained at the #1 spot in the Irish Album Chart for four weeks, topped the Streaming Chart for seven weeks, and has been the most streamed album by an Irish act for two years in a row.

Picture This are no doubt keen to top that success with their second release and their album launch was nothing short of impressive and we were lucky enough to be there to witness it.

What’s not to like about this view?

The performance was preluded by a stripped-down 50-minute performance of tracks from their latest album. This performance was pre-recorded to air on Thursday’s Eoghan McDermott show on 2fm.

MDRN LV will be released on 15 February and is cleverly released a day after Valentine’s because we’re told it’s definitely an album more for the heartbroken than the loved-up.

We’re sure that will delight singletons…
