Plenty of laughs to be had with the Body & Soul comedy line-up

Eric Lalor

Some big hitters lined up this year.

As seems to be the norm for any music festival worth its salt, the inclusion of the comedy tent is always hugely popular with punters.

This year’s line-up for the Vodafone Comedy Stage at Body & Soul is pretty impressive. The comedy will run on the Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 June.

Featuring some of the very best Irish talent around such as the ridiculously talented Al Porter. The 24-year-old from Tallaght is already a superstar and literally the world is his oyster. Go and see what all the fuss is about.

Blind Date

Joining Al, we have David O’Doherty who is without doubt one of the very best stand-up comedians anywhere in the world today, a phenomenal talent who will have you in stitches from start to finish.

Andrew Stanley, Chris Kent, Alison Spittle, Fred Cooke and Joanne McNally will also be there as will one of the very best improv troops around, the Dublin Comedy Improv.

Improv is such a great medium of comedy and when it’s done right, it’s sensational. These lads know how to do it right. Treat yourself and go see them.
