Queen Bohemian Rhapsody

An incredible achievement for an incredible song.

Recently, there has been quite an outpouring of love for Queen, the legendary British rock band.

This is largely thanks to the movie that came out in 2018, entitled Bohemian Rhapsody, which told the story of Freddie Mercury and Queen themselves.

The movie has grossed almost $600 million worldwide and is nominated for two Golden Globes, and will almost certainly be in the discussion when Oscar season comes around.

One of the greatest moments in the movies comes when the band are recording their iconic song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, a song that will be remembered forever for its greatness.

And according to CNN, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is the most streamed song to come from the 20th century.

We can’t say we’re surprised.

The 1975 song bested such other classics as Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, who were also highly ranked on the list.

CNN say that the song and official video for “Bohemian Rhapsody” have garnered more than 1.6 billion streams globally across all major streaming services.

And not that we need an excuse, but why not take six minutes out of your day to listen to the classic song one more time.
