Queens Of The Stone Age frontman kicks female photographer in the head during California show

Earlier this year, the frontman was sued for allegedly assaulting someone asking for autographs in Detroit.

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme took to the stage with his band last night at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show in Inglewood, California, when the musician reportedly kicked a photographer in the head mid-set.

Footage of the moment was captured below by Chelsea Lauren, the photographer who was assaulted by Homme.

Speaking to Variety, Lauren states that it was ”obviously very intentional.” The photographer goes on to say: “The next thing I know his foot connects with my camera and my camera connects with my face, really hard. He looked straight at me, swung his leg back pretty hard and full-blown kicked me in the face.”

Lauren was hospitalised following Homme’s assault.

This wasn’t the only strange behaviour Homme undertook during the show. The frontman yelled absurdities such as ”fuck Muse” (the band headlined the show after QOTSA’s set) and went on to call the crowd ”retards”, encouraging them to boo him.

Back in March, an autograph collector filed a lawsuit against the musician, alleging that Homme assaulted him after an Iggy Pop concert in Detroit last year.
