Rapper Scroobius Pip delivers on his promise to buy his 100k Twitter followers a drink

"Thou shalt not put musicians and recording artists on ridiculous pedestals no matter how great they are..."

“Thou shalt not put musicians and recording artists on ridiculous pedestals no matter how great they are…”

There are certain people that are just down-right effortlessly cool without even trying; think Steve McQueen, Will Ferrell and Marty Morrissey.

You can add rapper Scroobius Pip to that list after he promised to buy his Twitter followers a drink if they helped him reach 100,000 followers.

What’s amazing is that this tweet is over a year old, but the musician has actually followed though with his promise.

Here is the original tweet:

Scroob Tweet

We loved him beforehand because he has an awesome beard and makes some really great tunes, but the fact that he is also a man of his word has just solidified his hero status.

He even went out of his way to remind his followers, who may have forgotten, that he is more than happy to buy them a pint.

And here is the proof that the man is absolutely sound bloke.

Scroobius Pip was amazing at Indiependence this year and if you’ve never heard this song then enjoy. Timeless life advice, all condensed into 5:18.
