What a hero.
Red Hot Chili Peppers recently took part in a brilliant episode of Carpool Karaoke which had everything from nudity to wrestling, but apparently a lot more happened during the filming.
Speaking in a radio interview this week, Anthony Kiedis told host Chris Moyles that he and Cordon also had a dance off which wasn’t included in the final cut.
Just as the dance-off finished, the RHCP frontman explained that a woman came out of her home across the street screaming “My baby, my baby, my baby can’t breath.”
Much to Chris Moyles’ shock, Kiedis went on to explain that the woman handed the baby, who was not breathing, to him.
“I thought, I’m going to try and do a little baby CPR real quick, see if I can get some air in this kid.” He said.
When he realised that the baby’s jaw was locked up, he rubbed the child’s belly until she started breathing again.
The ambulance then showed up and Kiedis said he handed the baby over and went back to Carpool Karaoke.
Unbelievable.
Anyone who has watched the video will know that they picked a garden to wrestle in completely randomly, luckily they stopped where they did.
When the rest of the studio rightly tried to brand him a hero, Kiedis rejected the compliment.
“No hero, no hero, no hero, it was just a dance off, that ended with a seizure baby.” He said humbly.
