No. You’re not being rickrolled right now.

It has been 32 years since ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ took over the world, but it is fair to say that even in the decades since, Rick Astley has never let us down.

This week alone, Astley was supporting Take That during their Dublin gigs, and on the evening of Monday 29 April, he dropped in on Bourke’s bar at Whelan’s on Wexford Street to perform an impromtu medley of hits for everyone there.

It really did look like the best craic ever, and you can watch it unfold right here.

However, the good times are still coming for Astley fans (which we shall henceforth call The Rickrollers), as the Trinity College Dublin Students Union host the world-renowned artist on the night of Tuesday 30 April in Trinity College Dublin’s Chapel.

Yep, if you missed him at Whelan’s, and you didn’t nab tickets for Take That, there is one more chance to check him out live, provided you can get access to the Trinity Chapel!

David Flood, Entertainments Officer for Trinity College Dublin Students’ Union, had the following to say about the secret gig: “It’s fantastic to be able to host Rick Astley in Trinity. We originally thought that it was all a joke when we were contacted by his team, that we were being rickrolled, but eventually, it all became very real!

“We have such unique and cool venues in Trinity that are used rarely for events like this. It’s amazing to be able to use them for events like this.”

And, in case you’ve been living in a bunker the last few years, this is his song that everyone is always referencing, all of the time, which currently has over HALF A BILLION views on Youtube:
