Robert Plant

A nice early Christmas present for the Led Zeppelin fan in your life.

Robert Plant, the former lead singer with legendary rockers Led Zeppelin, has announced dates in Dublin and Belfast later this year.

Ahead of the release of his new album, Carry Fire, on October 13, Plant has announced dates in the Ulster Hall in Belfast on Saturday, 2 December and the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin on Sunday, December 3.

Although best known for being lead singer with one of the biggest and most notorious rock bands of all-time, Plant has carved out a very successful solo career and Carry Fire will be his eleventh solo album and his first since 2014.

Not bad going for a man who turns 69 this weekend.

Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday, August 25 at 9am.
