Saturday Night Warm-Up Tracks: Jimmy Eat World, The Strypes and Fatboy Slim

The weather would suggest that the summer is just about over, but let these three upbeat numbers help drag you out for one more night on the town and finish the season in style.

Jimmy Eat World – ‘Bleed American’

By all accounts the men from Mesa, Arizona rocked the O2 last night, and we’re sure that this number from way back in 2001 was a highlight for all those lucky enough to have been there.

The Strypes – ‘Blue Collar Jane’

The Cavan lads have deservedly received praise from sources far more esteemed than ourselves of late and having supported Blur last month they were on hand for the re-opening of HMW on Henry Street yesterday afternoon. The future is bright alright.

Fatboy Slim – Right Here, Right Now

Forgive us for indulging in a little Picnic nostalgia, but a week on from Stradbally, Norman Cook’s set is still ringing in our ears.
