The Script announce two Irish gigs for 2018

Kate Demolder

The Irish band released their most recent song Arms Open in November 2017.

The Script took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce that they will be performing two Irish gigs in 2018. The performances will take place at Belfast’s June festival Belsonic, as well as being part of Cork’s Live at the Marquee line-up the following day.

The band has just released their 4th number 1 studio album Freedom Child, which the band is set to play in Cork on 25 June.

The three-piece Irish band, made up of Danny O’Donoghue, Glen Power and Mark Sheehan, has sold over 29 million records, boasts x3 multi-platinum albums and has cracked the US with an impressive array of platinum-selling singles under their belt.

The band sold out their enormous hometown venue of Croke Park stadium in a matter of minutes back in 2015, so if you’re keen to see them play at home again – we’d recommend you get on it quickly.

Tickets for the two shows are priced from €42.55, including booking and facility fees, and go on sale this Friday, 15 December at 9:30am from all usual outlets and online.
