Sending mammy to the moon and singing Cheeky Girls: JOE spins the Tombola of Truth with Twin Atlantic

Eric Lalor

Glaswegian rockers, Twin Atlantic dare to take on the JOE Tombola of Truth. *dramatic music*

Their latest album, Great Divide has been a massive commercial and critical hit. They spoke to us here in JOE ahead of their hotly anticipated appearance in The Academy on May 2nd.

You know the score – 50 balls, 50 questions, one fearsome Tombola of Truth.

Bruce Springsteen at the Olympic Park in London.

Hard Rock Calling 2013 - Day 2

I had waited my whole life to hear him play live. I was nearly greetin!

Do you think there is life on other planets?

Absolutely yes. Out of our realms of imagination or understanding. There has to be. Chemistry, physics and biology are too powerful not to react on another lump of rock somewhere out there.

What makes you happy?

Seeing people having an uncontrollably good time at our gigs.

Who would play you in your biopic?

James McAvoy. I hope. He’s Scottish. Same type of face. Blue eyes. Brown hair. I like him. Really good actor. Please do it James.

What’s your karaoke song?

Cheeky Girls. We are the cheeky girls.

OK! & Toby Anstis Party - Arrivals

Who or what grinds your gears?

People who eat with even 5% noise happening. Close your mouth. Be conscious of people hearing the food slip about inside your poisonous wet mouth. Haha. As you can see it drives me mental.

If you could send one person to the moon, who would it be?

My younger sister. Absolute comedy. Or my mum.
