Shania Twain

The big summer showdown.

Shania Twain has announced that she’ll be playing Malahide Castle in Dublin this summer, however there’s a major clash in the Irish capital on the night.

The iconic country pop singer will be playing the huge Irish outdoor venue on June 28 as part of her ‘Queen of Me’ tour.

Along with the announcement comes some bad news – as some fans will have to choose between Shania and Taylor Swift‘s opening night of her Eras Tour dates (June 28, 29 and 30) at the Aviva Stadium.

The ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ hitmaker will be joined by special guest Rag N Bone man on the night in Dublin.

Announcing the show – as well as a date one at Belfast’s Belsonic on June 27 – the 58-year-old said: “When it rains… it pours!! UK & IRELAND – I’m coming for you, see you this Summer!”

The Canadian popstar, who has sold over 100 million albums globally, rose to prominence in the mid-90s and has since won five Grammy awards. She is also the best-selling female artist in country music history.

Twain kicked off her tour in April last year after the release of her sixth album ‘Queen of Me’ in February 2023.

Tickets for Shania Twain at Malahide castle go on sale on Thursday, February 15 at 9am on Ticketmaster. Ticket prices start from €79.90, including booking fee.
