Notions. We all have them.
In this fast-paced music world, it can be tough to keep up with each and every new release.
Sometimes, things slip through the cracks. Luckily, people make enough noise and you cop on. And that, dear reader, brings me to future-soul Cork outfit Shookrah.
The five-piece put out a single – ‘Notions’ – last month. I missed it.
They then dropped their debut self-titled album a couple of weeks later.
I missed that, too.
Turns out both are great and well worth your attention in what continues to be a legitimately banner year for Irish music, so let’s celebrate that album release properly, shall we?
