English rock band The Darkness, who soared to the height of their popularity and achieved cult-like status in the mid-2000s, have announced three Irish shows in three venues throughout Ireland in October. The band will kick off their European tour in Dolan’s in Limerick on Friday, October 13, before moving onto gigs in The Academy in Dublin (Saturday, October 14) and Limelight in Belfast (Sunday, October 15) on the same weekend. https://twitter.com/academydublin/status/866579289499734016 Tickets for the Limerick gig are now available on Dolan’s website, while tickets for the Dublin and Belfast gigs will be available on Ticketmaster from Monday, May 29 and Friday, May 26 respectively. https://twitter.com/mydolans/status/866586900060045312?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet https://twitter.com/LimelightNI/status/866579808523780097 Having reunited in 2011 following a lengthy hiatus, the band released their fourth studio album, Last of Our Kind, in 2015 and plan to release their fifth album this year. They might not be to everyone’s tastes, but there will certainly be plenty of people queuing up to hear classics such as this one in October… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGIcxeyWp_I Clip via Fernando Solis
